Welcome to our website. Thanks to the Rix Family Foundation I have been the Eleanor Rix Professor of Rural Teacher Education since 2009. In that time, I have logged lots of hours on jets, float planes, ferries and rental cars, exploring parts of rural BC I hardly imagined existed. I don't need to tell you how stunningly beautiful our province is, and how diverse, both culturally and geographically. Rural Educators have warmly welcomed me everywhere I go, and I continue to be immensely proud of those of you who work with the children & youth of BC.
